DOMESTIC WATER SHUTDOWN - RAL NORTH - AUG 22 - 6AM TO 12PM

TO ALL IN RAL NORTH:

This serves as a notification for a shutdown of the domestic water in Roger Adams Laboratory North ONLY. The purpose is to schedule a complete shut down for the domestic water line in NORTH Roger Adams Lab. The shutdown will last for approximately six hours. Davis Houk will need to take the domestic water line back to the main and install a valve to reroute the piping in the future for construction purposes.  One of the plumbers from the university has confirmed that there is no isolation valve that would allow us to do the work without shutting down the water in NORTH RAL.  This means there will be NO HOT or COLD WATER in RAL North.  DI Water is NOT affected.  The installation of the valve will begin at 6 am and will be completed by 12 pm on Thursday, August 22.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding the upcoming domestic water shutdown in RAL North,  please contact me no later than 3pm on Friday, Aug 16.
