All,
This serves as a notification for a crane
pick in Roger Adams Laboratory that will allow us to remove the Trane and
McQuay chillers. As discussed, please see the attached document that shows the
areas that will be affected by the crane pick for the Trane and McQuay Chillers
to be removed. Attached you will also find a map that shows the areas that will
be blocked by the shutdown and where the crane will be placed. The map also
shows where pertinent signage and blockades will be placed for the crane and
find the traffic closure request that was sent on 6/12/19. Setup for the crane
will begin between 4 and 5 am Thursday morning. The removal of the Trane and
McQuay chillers will begin between 6 am and 7am. The two chillers should be
removed before 12 pm. The rest of the time will be spent lifting materials for
future work for the roof including curbs and steel. Please note the
work is slated to begin on July 10th starting at 5 am and will last
to approximately 5 pm on July 10th. The hours requested for the crane pick are
from 4 am – 5pm. If you have any questions regarding the upcoming crane
pick feel free to contact me.
Kindest Regards,
Iman S. Hoggard
